Painting-A-Day #7 "Ophelia"

August 17, 2016 Julie Marriott

"Ophelia" is an 8"x8"x1.5" acrylic painting on canvas.  Because of the slightly larger size of the canvas, she took two days to complete.  It felt so great to take a bit more time to think through her composition and colors, and I love how she turned out!  Still full of thick, exuberant strokes, but a little more polished.  She's available here in the shop.

Here's how she looked after my first day's painting session.
