Often grown indoors as a houseplant in colder climates, geraniums stretch toward the light, their stems creating curious whimsical shapes. I was inspired by the beauty and movement of these potted flowers all gathered together in a little "forest.” I explored this still life painting with quick, bold brushstrokes, focusing on keeping the shapes loose and full of energy.

This diptych piece is painted across two 18 × 24 × 1.5 canvases, which can be hung together as one complete 24 × 36 image or displayed separately. The sides of the canvases are painted to match the piece’s color palette and they will arrive ready to hang.
